I do so love to make things. Don’t you? I live a very ordinary life made extraordinary by knitting & crocheting, drawing & painting. These creative pursuits are both how I deal with life as well as how I transform the beauty I see into something tangible, touchable, seeable, knowable.

I love to teach. I enjoy building small creative communities where women thrive in making things with their hands and fibers. Though I think of myself as a traveling knit/crochet teacher (like the traveling evangelists of old:) ), it is my joy to be able to teach out of a sweet Local Yarn Shop called Knit One Smock Too. On a larger scale, Martha & Shirley have created one big creative community in Winston-Salem that reaches out to quilters, embroiderers, knitters, crocheters, smockers and tatters in the Triad area. I love playing a small part in the creativity flowingย out of their yarn and fabric shop.

Should you wish to read more about my creative pursuits, here is a starting point. I hope you will follow this blog as well the other for posts and updates brought right to your email box!

Thank you for visiting here! I look forward toย many happy yarn-filled days together!
